The Egyptian Calendar is one of the earliest known world calendars, created when the lunar year was discovered by scientists of the ancient empire. Like the modern calendar, the 365 day year consisted of twelve months, but with only three seasons. The 2021 Egyptian Calendar coin contains 2 Troy oz. The coin features a gorgeous antiqued finish. Design of the coin is dramatically enhanced with a golden colored translucent resin. The coin is minted with contrasting high and low relief imagery, which results in a breathtaking three-dimensional effect. The coin measures an impressive 50 mm in diameter.
