According to some, in that year, 1964, the owners of Anchor Bar in Buffalo, New York, were faced with the arrival of their son, Dominic, and a group of his rowdy friends. With the bar set to close for the night, Teresa Bellissimo was forced to improvise. A batch of previously unwanted chicken wings, a deep fryer, and some local hot sauce later, and the first ever bowl of delicious Buffalo Wings was served! Created lovingly and with both eyes very much on keeping collecting fun, this 99.9% pure silver collector coin is shaped just like a buffalo wing, and is brightly coloured just as a wing should be! Brilliantly minted, you can even see the crispy skin bubbles on the surface of this deep fried precious metal collectable.
