To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the release of Ghostbusters iconic film, we’re excited to present 2024 Ghostbusters Silver Ecto-1 License Plate Shaped Coin. The coin’s reverse replicates the legendary ECTO-1 New York license plate as seen on the Ectomobile in the iconic 1984 movie Ghostbusters. The coin is struck from 2oz of 99.9% pure silver. The vehicle used for Ecto-1 was a 1959 Cadillac professional chassis built by the Miller-Meteor company. The ambulance/hearse combination was the end loader variety. After repairs have completed, the vehicle had quite a unique character. It became a well recognized symbol for the Ghostbusters franchise. Released in 1984, GhostbustersT is an American supernatural comedy film that follows the story of three doctors working in the Paranormal Studies Department of Columbia University in New York.
