Some of the lions are shown resting while others are in menacing poses. At the top of the image is the inscription DANIEL IN THE LIONS DEN. Queen Elizabeth II, Niues head of state, is depicted on the obverse. Several inscriptions surround her portrait. This coin comes in a special box that looks like a Bible. It consists of 2 Troy oz. 999 pure silver and was struck at the Scottsdale Mint. The coins mintage is limited to just 1499, and each one has a laser-etched serial number on the edge.
