It is a genuine legal tender coin minted by the New Zealand mint for the country of Niue (an island nation in the South Pacific northeast of Australia and New Zealand). Niue is a self-governing constitutional monarchy in free association with New Zealand which accounts for the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II on the flip side of the coin. The date of the coin is 2017. Steamboat Willie was the original name of Mickey Mouse. He appeared with the name Steamboat Willie and his first appearance was in the 1928 animated film, “Steamboat Willie”.
