The coin’s reverse replicates the legendary ECTO-1 New York license plate as seen on the Ectomobile in the iconic 1984 movie Ghostbusters. The coin is struck from 2oz of 99.9% pure silver. The vehicle used for Ecto-1 was a 1959 Cadillac professional chassis built by the Miller-Meteor company. The ambulance/hearse combination was the end loader variety. After repairs have completed, the vehicle had quite a unique character. It became a well recognized symbol for the Ghostbusters franchise.
