The coin presents wonderful and detailed Ultra High Reliefs, has a selective Gold plating, has an Antique Finish quality and comes in a wooden case, along with the Certificate of Authenticity. Limited mintage of only 500 pieces worldwide! The reverse of the coin features the wonderful high relief image of the goddesses Victoria and Nike with beautiful selective gildings. On top of the reverse, the inscription: Victoria and Nike the name of the coin. The obverse of the coin features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions: ELIZABETH II the name of the Queen, NIUE the issuing country, 2018 the year of issue and 5 DOLLARS the face value. Victoria y Nike Victoria, in ancient Roman religion, was the personified goddess of victory. She is the Roman equivalent of the Greek goddess Nike, and was associated with Bellona. She was adapted from the Sabine agricultural goddess Vacuna and had a temple on the Palatine Hill. The goddess Vica Pota was also sometimes identified with Victoria. Victoria is often described as a daughter of Pallas and Styx, and as a sister of Zelus, Kratos, and Bia. Unlike the Greek Nike, the goddess Victoria (Latin for victory) was a major part of Roman society. Multiple temples were erected in her honor. When her statue was removed in 382 CE by Emperor Gratianus there was much anger in Rome. She was normally worshiped by triumphant generals returning from war. In ancient Greek religion, Nike was a goddess who personified victory. Her Roman equivalent was Victoria. She was variously described as the daughter of the Titan Pallas and the goddess Styx, and the sister of Kratos (Strength), Bia (Force), and Zelus (Zeal).
