The name of the series was changed to Hawksbill Turtle, since “taku” is the word for the sea creature in the Fijian language. Hawksbill turtles live in the ocean shallows, and are known for their vibrantly colored and intricately patterned shells. Each of the 5 2021 Niue Hawksbill Turtle coins in the lot are struck from 1 Troy oz. The bullion coins measure 40.50 mm in diameter.
