In their process of experimentation, the alchemists established the foundation for modern sciences such as chemistry, physics, metallurgy and medicine. Shelving bearing vials, jars and ancient tomes covers the entirety of the background. A wood plank suspended by a chain above carries the inscription “ALCHEMIST, ” the letters of which are enhanced with fluorescent printing.
