On the reverse of 2019 2 oz Crown of Thorns Biblical Silver Coins, you can see Jesus seated in the center of the design as several soldiers mockingly “crown” him as the new King of the Jews. It is said the soldiers shouted “Hail, King of the Jews” to him and knelt down in mock worship before spitting on him. Each coin is packaged in a gift box reminiscent of the Bible and includes a numbered certificate of authenticity that matches the laser etched number on the rim of the coin.
